Hello My Background: I was employed as a Civil Service employee at Mc Clellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA for 14 years as a graphics illustrator. It was during my time there at McClellan that I had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the finest Chiefs in the Air Force. |

When the base closed in 2005 I was asked by the McClellan Chiefs Group President, CMSgt George Moses, to be the web master for the Air Force Chiefs web site. It has been a privilege and honor for me to continue to maintain the web site for the McClellan Chiefs Group to this day. In May of 2003 I had the distinct honor of being nominated and accepted as an Honorary Chief by the McClellan Chiefs Group. My induction took place at Travis Air Force Base, CA as part of their yearly Induction Ceremony. I cannot begin to express how proud I am to be so graciously welcomed into the Air Force family as one of their own. I know that I am among a chosen few civilians that have had this honor bestowed on them. I have told the Chiefs many times that if I had had mentors like them during my two year tour of duty in the US Army in 1964-1966 I would probably have made the military my career choice. |
